Chocolate Endurance Pudding

I have had variations of this at dinner parties where people enjoy making you guess what the delicious chocolate pudding is made of….

I have been playing around with substantial and creative foods to eat hours into my race. One of the goals at 8-10 hours or beyond is to get some fats in the system while still also getting carbs and proteins. I just made this up based on a raw recipe online… but tweaked it to make it a little more paleo and a little more performance based. But don’t be fooled… this isn’t a gross gel… it’s so delicious you can serve it for dessert.

In a food processor mix:

* 2 large ripe avocados
* 3 bananas
* 1/2 cup cocoa powder
* 4 tbps of agave (don’t short this… it’s a good balance for the bitter cocoa)
* 1 scoop vanilla protein whey powder
* 2 tsp lemon juice
* 1/2 cup canned coconut milk
* 1- 1.5 cups water (check the consistency)

Blend until smooth. Poor into desired containers, cover and let sit in the fridge for an hour. I used 5oz Hammer Gel squeeze containers that I bought at Nester’s. I’ll let you know how that works out for eating it!
