* Bone-in shoulder or butt pork roast
* 1/3 cup fresh ginger
* 1/3 cup sugar (or agave)
* 6 garlic cloves
* 1 tsp salt and pepper
Pulse in a food processor, rub on roast and place in slow cooker. Cook on low for approx 8 hours.
* 3/4 cup chopped green onions
* 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
* 1/4 cup minced fresh ginger
* 1/4 cup grape seed oil
* 2 tsp soy sauce
* 1/4 tsp chili paste (or hot sauce)
Shred the pork with two forks once cooked and rested, and serve with rice and sauce wrapped in lettuce leaves (we used butter lettuce).
