Starting Sunday, February 6th Dave will be heading up a running group for CFSQ members. The goal is to create a small sub community of runners who are keen to go explore trails and learn technical movement together. You do not need to attend every single week and can join at any time. The group will be very inclusive of ability and experience, breaking up into subgroups as needed. We can hear you now saying “but I don’t want to hold anyone up”…. it’s just not like that! Dave will ensure that all experience levels are accommodated. If you don’t have a ton of trail time under your belt this is an excellent opportunity to explore Squamish with some guidance and buddies.
Each week Dave will post the meeting place location to the CFSQ Weekly WODs Facebook group as well as any relevant running homework/supplementary work for that week.
You do not need to have an event in mind as part of your process but the following are a few ideas that Dave has proposed if you are a goal oriented person:
June- TBA group adventure Goal, Elfin Lakes 15k out and back?
June-11th Comfortably Numb 23k
June-18th Kusam Klimb Half-marathon (massive vertical incredibly fun race on Vancouver Island, an amazing team trip)
June 25th –Sea to Sky Scramble 6k (vertical race up to the Gondola, super hard, super fun)
July- TBA Red Bull 400 (vertical race)
