I have no idea how we had never heard of these before. Jesse was complaining to Jayde that the new gym reno is making him lose weight, so the next time she came down to Squamish she brought us a container of these meatballs.
Her instructions are to use half ground pork and half ground beef, or use Italian/chorizo sausage to add more flavour. Dice up some dates, cook bacon diced up and then mix all ingredients in a bowl. Make into small balls and place them in a Pyrex dish in the oven at 375 for 35-40 mins.
Make lots. We ate the container of 20 in less than 15 minutes.
