On Sunday, March 21st (the weekend before the CrossFit Games Qualifier here) the Lung Association is hosting an event called The Stair Climb for Clean Air . It is essentially a race up the stairs of the Sheraton Wall Centre. I guess it’s the indoor version of booting up the Chief…although based on last years results, most did it much faster. In fact, the results ranged from 5ish minutes to 18ish minutes. Does that sound like a familiar time frame for a workout? I have a hunch that we should be good at this one.
Mike told me (holding it to you buddy) that he was planning on doing it in his firefighting gear (that is a major category for this event). It is obviously an individual effort but there is a team category. I’m weirdly curious what it would be like (in shorts, t-shirt and sneaks). Anyone else want to try? The requirement is to raise $100 minimum per person which seems like a pretty easy task.
